American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS)
is a nonprofit professional society dedicated to the advancement
of scientific and technological excellence across all disciplines,
and to the public's understanding of science and technology.
AAAS is the world's largest federation of scientific and
engineering societies. Many of today's most prestigious
and influential scientific societies have their historical
origins in AAAS. The Directorate for Education and Human
Resources Programs (EHR) supports systemic educational reform.

Women in Engineering Programs & Advocates
Network (WEPAN) is a non-profit educational organization
founded in 1990 to be a catalyst for change enhancing the
success of women in the engineering professions. WEPAN provides
technical assistance and training on gender equity. It has
a membership of over 500 and is led by a 23-person board
of directors from academia and industry. Over $3.5 million
has been raised in support of WEPAN initiatives. WEPAN's
mission is to be a catalyst for change that enhances the
success of women in the engineering professions. For more

The Association for Women in Science (AWIS)
is a nonprofit organization established in 1971, dedicated
to achieving equity and full participation for women in
science, mathematics, engineering, and technology. AWIS
has over 5,000 members in fields spanning the life and physical
sciences, mathematics, social science, and engineering and
is the largest multidisciplinary science organization for
women in the United States. Over 50% of AWIS members have
doctorates in their respective fields, and hold positions
at all levels of industry, academe, and government. For
