  • June 11-14, 2006 Pittsburgh, PA Women in Engineering Programs & Advocates Network (WEPAN) annual conference, Building Bridges, is a metaphor for WEPAN’s commitment to building partnerships and programs that advance women in engineering. Conference participants will have opportunities to network and share information about programs and career progressions.  

  • Oct 2006 San Diego, CA The Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing 2006 is the sixth in a series of conferences designed to bring the research and career interests of women in computing to the forefront. This conference includes presentations by women leaders in computing, networking and mentoring, and serves to increase the visibility of the progress women have made in the field of computing. It is sponsored by the Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology and the Association for Computing Machinery.  

  • Oct 12-16, 2006 Kansas City, MO The SWE National Conference is the largest professional development and career conference for women engineers, attracting more than 3,000 engineering professionals, students and corporate representatives.
