 Dalal
S. Alnaggar, Ph.D.
Dr. Dalal is a reseach professor and the Director of the
Regional Center for Training and Water Studies of the
Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation in Egypt.
Prof. Dalal
earned her B.Sc. in Civil Engineering "Surveying"
from College of Engineering at Shobra, Zagazig University,
Banha Branch, Egypt. She got a "Diploma Engineer"
in computer programming in Geodesy from the Technical
University of Graz, Austria, in 1980. She earned a M.Sc.
and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering "Physical Geodesy"
from Cairo University, Egypt, in 1983 and 1986 respectively.
Dr. Dalal has
a wide experience in different aspects of Geomatics Engineering,
Geographic Information Systems, Remote Sensing, Water
Management, Geometrical Geodesy as well as Physical Geodesy.
She is now directing and supervising all national and
international training programs, workshops and conferences
of the Regional Center for Training and Water Studies
in the field of water management, irrigation, drainage,
and computer science.
She has 40
local and international publications. She is a member
of several committees on Suveying and a member of the
organizing and consulting committee, UNESCO, in Gravimetry.
She is also a member of the International Unions for Geodesy
and Geophysics.
