Gloria Azogini Chukwudebe,
Engr., Ph.D.
Dr. Chukwudebe
is currently the Head of the Department of Electrical/Electronic
Engineering at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri,
Nigeria. She is also the Supervising Coordinator for the
University Extension Services at Aba and Umuahia. She
teaches courses in Digital Systems, Computer Architecture,
Semiconductor Devices, Linear Systems, and Basic Control
Engineering.
Dr. Chukwudebe
has done research at the Federal University of Technology,
Newcastle University in England and the University of
Nigeria in Nsukka, Nigeria. Her research projects include:
- Increasing
Nigeria's Oil Production Capacity Through Accurate Oil/Gas
Separation Process Using Control Engineering Techniques,
- The Development
of an Expert System for Electrical Power System Monitoring
and Control, and
- An Efficient
Channel Routing Algorithm for Superchips.
She has previously
served as a member of the Nigerian Government Telecommunication
Reform Implementation Committee, a member of the Regulation
and Control Committee of the Council for Regulation of
Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), and as Vice Chairman of
the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Owerri Branch. Dr.
Chukwudebe is
a member of several associations including the Association
of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria and the Computer
Association of Nigeria. She has published numerous journal
articles and conference papers.
