Mrs. Drina Wan Yue

Mrs. Yue holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. in Computer Science from the
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. With over 20 years of experience and inventor of 5 US
patents in the telecommunication industry, Drina brings extraordinary integrity, depth and breath of
knowledge as well as managerial experience to developing and driving Motorola’s broadband business in Asia.
Ms. Yue has over twenty years of multi-functional experience in the telecommunications field as she held various
senior management positions with international conglomerates and helped with overseeing global business
developments and regional operations. Drina began her career in June 1980 at AT&T in the US as development
engineer and system analyst. She was transferred to Bell Communications Research in 1984 as Member of Technical
Staff, later promoted to group leader of Networks Systems. Ms. Yue was transferred to BellSouth Enterprises in late
1985, where she worked extensively on BellSouth's ventures in many countries in Europe and Asia. During her career,
Drina has been involved with communications network design, broadband systems, fiber-to-the-home services, and
the expansion of wireless technologies. To commence her high achievements, she received the "Spirit of Enterprises
Award" given by the President of BellSouth Enterprises. With her 16 years career at the Bell System, she received 5
US patents in telecommunications services. She lived and worked in the US for 20 years before moving to China in
1994 and worked in China and Hong Kong for 10 years.
Before joining Motorola as the VP & Managing Director of BCS, Asia Pacific, Drina held the position of Director and
CEO of iSteelAsia, As a start up entrepreneur, she developed and managed a steel distribution and trading company
in the steel services industry leveraging Internet communications and marketing technologies. With her leadership, the
company went public in Hong Kong, doubled in revenues every year for the past 4 years, and became profitable. Prior
to joining iSteelAsia, Drina worked for Motorola in the capacity of Chief of Staff to the President of Motorola’s wireless
infrastructure business in China.
Ms. Yue was appointed by Mr. Tong Chee Hwa, Chief Executive of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region PRC as
a board member of the Information Infrastructure Advisory Committee (IIAC) to advise the Hong Kong Government on
the steps to take to facilitate the development of the information and telecommunication infrastructure in Hong Kong
since August 2000. She was also appointed by Chief Executive Tong as a member of the Appeal Board, Ministry of
Health, Welfare and Food.
