The
Global Alliance is committed to increasing the participation
of women in the SMET workforce worldwide and supporting
other diverse groups including: ethnicity, age, discipline,
languages, and cultures. Its primary objectives are twofold:
(1) to establish worldwide collaborations with higher education
institutions, corporations and government, and (2) to facilitate
the development of long-term, sustainable infrastructures
in science and engineering for a diversified workforce.

upcoming year the Global Alliance plans to participate in a variety
of meetings and events designed to increase the participation
of women in the SMET workforce. The final
