
Fayza
A. Mohamed, Ph.D.
Dr. Fayza is a research professor and the Chairperson
of the Egyptian Agency for Atomic Energy.
She earned
her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Alexandria University,
Egypt in 1965. She earned a M.S. from the same school
in 1970. Then, she got a "Dr d, Ingenieur"
from "Universitepaul'sabatier, Fac. Bes sciences,
ceter d' informatigue", in Toulouse, France in
1973.
Dr. Fayza
became the vice-chairman of the Egyptian Agency for
Atomic Energy in 2001. She was previously the Head of
the Nuclear Installation Division from 1995 to 2001,
and the Deputy Head of the same division from 1989 to
1995. Before that she was the Head of the Control and
Computer Laboratory in the Reactor Department in the
same agency from 1973 to 1989. She participated in building
the inspector team for nuclear installation, took part
in implementing computer network project, and shared
in a telephone traffic management and control project
with the Telecommunication Research Institute in Egypt.
Dr. Fayza
has 51 papers, published in national and international
conferences.
