The Global Alliance plays an active role in supporting the participation of women in science and technology. The following are projects developed by members of the Global Alliance partnerships.     Special Projects      Current Projects Women's Forum of the World Engineers' Convention At the 2004 World Engineers' Convention, there will be two days of events developed for women engineers and scientists. The focus of this special forum is to share international best practices of corporations, educational institutions, professional societies, and government in increasing the participation of women in the science and engineering workforce. African Women in Engineering and Science web site Learn about the issues and challenges women engineers and scientists face in the countries of Egypt, Mali, and Nigeria.
